TAURIC CHERSONESOS. Chersonesos. Circa 300-290 BC. AE (Bronze, 20 mm, 5.24 g, 2 h), Eudromos, magistrate. XEP Artemis advancing left, striking stag lying left with spear, and holding bow with left. Rev. EYΔPOMOY Bull butting left, head facing; below, bow and quiver. Anokhin 700. Anokhin, Khersonesa, 77. SNG Stancomb 474-7. An attractive example with unusually clear details. Minor smoothing, otherwise, good very fine.
